    BASKETBALL TIP
Good players get their hands on the ball on defense. They deflect some passes going inside, they hit a dribble in the lane and they touch one or two of their offender’s passes.

There aren’t any foolproof schemes as to how to get this touching done. Mainly, you have to want to, and you have to be in position.

When the player you are guarding is about to throw a pass, you need to be near them, trying to put your hands where the ball is, so that anytime they throw carelessly or without faking first, you will touch the ball.

You won’t get it every time. No one will. But you will get one or two a game if you are trying to touch each one.

    LEADERSHIP LESSON
“Remarkable visions and genuine insights are always met with resistance. And when you start to make progress, your efforts are met with even more resistance.

Products, services, career paths – whatever it is, the forces for mediocrity will align to stop you, forgiving no errors and never backing down until it’s over.

If it were any other way, it would be easy. And if it were any other way, everyone would do it and your work would ultimately be devalued.

The yin and yang are clear: without people pushing against your quest to do something worth talking about, it’s unlikely to be worth the journey. Persist.”

    – Seth Godin

    LIFE PRINCIPLE
“When an archer misses the mark he turns and looks for the fault within himself. Failure to hit the bull’s-eye is never the fault of the target. To improve your aim, improve yourself.”

    – John C. Maxwell
