    BASKETBALL TIP
The best competitor, the perfect competitor for you, is You-Yesterday.

You-Yesterday has the same size, speed, and physical attributes of You-Today.

You-Yesterday, assuming you did your best, has the same willpower, the same determination, the same amount of just about everything.

Hooked up in battle, You-Tuesday and You-Wednesday are more equally matched than any two competitors who ever engaged in any competition.

By measuring your performance levels and striving to improve them each day, you maximize your effort and concentration, and constantly pressure yourself to use your abilities to the fullest.

    LEADERSHIP LESSON
“Mistakes will be made [by giving people the freedom and encouragement to act autonomously], but…the mistakes he or she makes are not as serious in the long run as the mistakes management will make if it is dictatorial and undertakes to tell those under its authority exactly how they must do their job. Management that is destructively critical when mistakes are made kills initiative and it’s essential that we have many people with initiative if we are to continue to grow.”

    – Jim Collins

    LIFE PRINCIPLE
“You can learn more in an hour of silence than you can in a year from books.”

    – Matthew Kelly
