    BASKETBALL TIP
Instead of telling yourself how hard you work, spend time thinking up ways in which you could work harder.

Are there times during games when you could inject more energy?
Are there situations where you have thought that extraordinary effort is not necessary, but maybe it really is?

It is necessary to realize that playing hard is a skill, and just like passing, shooting and dribbling you have to work on your ability to work hard.

    LEADERSHIP LESSON
“Because no matter how hard a conversation is, I know that on the other side of that difficult conversation lies peace. Knowledge. An answer delivered. Character is revealed. Truces are formed. Misunderstandings are resolved. Freedom lies across the field of the difficult conversation. And the more difficult the conversation, the greater the freedom.”

    – Shonda Rhimes

    LIFE PRINCIPLE
“How you wake up each day and your morning routine (or lack thereof) dramatically affects your levels of success in every single area of your life.

Focused, productive, successful mornings generate focused, productive, successful days—which inevitably create a successful life—in the same way that unfocused, unproductive, and mediocre mornings generate unfocused, unproductive, and mediocre days, and ultimately a mediocre quality of life.

By simply changing the way you wake up in the morning, you can transform any area of your life, faster than you ever thought possible.”

    – Hal Elrod
