On Attitude, Tasting Our Words, and Planning Ahead

BASKETBALL TEACHING
A good attitude is something you have to decide consciously to have.
A good attitude is being calm under pressure, it is encouraging your teammates, it is requiring of yourself your peak performance at all times.
A good attitude is seeing yourself in advance, with your eyes closed, performing to your utmost under all sorts of adverse circumstances, and actually doing that when those circumstances arise.

LIFE LESSON
“Our words have more power than we even believe. Our words define our reality. We need to pick them carefully. Make sure you taste your words before you spit them out.”
– Jay Shetty
EDUCATIONAL TIP
Starting today, make a choice…
A choice to quit being like most other students who put off studying until the last minute, then guzzle coffee and take pills all night in the hopes of staying awake and cramming the night before an exam.
Instead, plan ahead, schedule your time wisely and show self-discipline. These are the traits that’ll make you successful in school and in life.
Remember, learning can be enjoyable, but only if you give it a chance to be.
