    BASKETBALL TIP
Good players plan with each other.

In football, the wide receiver comes back to the huddle and tells the quarterback he can get free going long. In basketball, players have to communicate with each other, too.

Much of what looks spontaneous and unrehearsed to the fan has been carefully planned and practiced many times.

You can do more than simply know your team’s offense and defense. Within those frameworks, there is still a lot of room for individual initiative, creativity and planning if you care enough to take the time to do it.

    LEADERSHIP LESSON
“But knowing your people is not enough. They need to know you.

It is absolutely critical during trying times that you as a leader are accessible, that you project a sense of confidence tempered by concern, that you share as much undistorted and unfiltered information as you can, and that you act decisively.

Remember that people are constantly searching for indications about their leader’s ability to carry them through a raging storm and they will interpret or misinterpret the slightest signals, whether those signals are sent intentionally or mistakenly.”

    – Larry Bossidy

    LIFE PRINCIPLE
“Why not make cheerfulness, outrageousness, playfulness a new priority for yourself?

    Make feeling good your expectation.

You don’t have to have a reason to feel good—you’re alive; you can feel good for no reason at all!”

    – Anthony Robbins
