Today’s Monday Mindset: A Cure for Boredom
I’m bored.
Those were banned words in our house when our kids were growing up.
I was teaching this at our Point Guard Prep camp just a week ago.
Don’t be bored.
Don’t think of yourself as having a boring teacher or being in a boring class.
Why?
Because of curiosity.
There’s always things to be curious about. There’s always things to learn, and there are millions of other people who have found nearly any topic, any topic you found boring, fascinating.
So why not spend your time trying to figure out why others find this topic interesting? And then it won’t be boring any longer.
Drop the word bored from your vocabulary. Don’t be bored.
That’s my challenge and that’s your Monday Mindset.

PGC Basketball provides intense, no-nonsense basketball training for players and coaches. Our basketball camps are designed to teach players of all positions to play smart basketball, be coaches on the court, and be leaders in practices, games and in everyday life.
