A Jamal Murray Story

Today’s Monday Mindset: A Jamal Murray Story
Presented by: Mano Watsa, President of PGC Basketball Camps
After Jamal Murray attended a couple of our basketball camps, I went and watched him practice at his prep school. At this one practice, the coach was making them sprint all practice long, and they were going up and down and up and down and they were just exhausted.
At one point between sprints, everyone was keeled over gasping for breath and Jamal was going up and down the baseline giving guys pats on the back saying, “we got this, we got this”.
It was phenomenal energy, phenomenal leadership.
Picking up others when they had nothing left in the tank…amazing. It was an inspiration to me at the time. And now seeing him do it at the highest levels of play has been remarkable.
Here’s my challenge to you.
Do you pick up others when they need it the most?
See if you can be someone to lift up when they’re down, when they’re desperate, and when they need you.
That’s my challenge for you. Pick up others. That’s your Monday Mindset.
