Today’s Monday Mindset: Ask This Question
If you only had one question you could ask yourself every day for the rest of your life, this should be the question.
How do you make today your masterpiece?
This comes from Coach John Wooden named ESPN Coach of the Century and his famous quote, “Make each day your masterpiece.” I love that.
And I try and live that out by asking myself these subquestions each day, every single day, and I journal on them. How do I add value to myself today? What will make today rewarding and fun and memorable, and then I write down two or three things.
How do I add value to my work or my career today? And I write down two or three things, and then how do I add value to my family today? And I write down two or three things, and then I take action on them.
When you do that, you will make the most of every single day, and you will truly make each day your masterpiece.
So ask that question every day.
That’s my challenge, and that’s your Monday Mindset.
