  • Today’s Monday Mindset: Be Intentional

I am here with my main man, Coach Jack, at our basketball camp, and Coach Jack started coaching me when I was 10 years old.

I was just a little guy and he coached me for eight years at a basketball camp.

Jack’s from Detroit, Michigan, and once he coached me, then I invited Coach Jack to come start coaching at my Watsa Basketball Camp.

Jack, we’ve been coaching together for 31 years. It’s hard to believe, isn’t it?

And we’ve had a great time together all these years, and I’m just reminded of the importance of being intentional with relationships because Jack and I have been intentional to stay together all these years.

Every summer we have a great time together and it’s really the greatest gift in life…

    Long-term friendships.

I encourage you to be intentional with your relationships so that they can last a long time, maybe even a lifetime, as ours has.

Be intentional. That’s my challenge and that’s your Monday Mindset.
