Be Weird

Today’s Monday Mindset: Be Weird
We’re here at our staff retreat, and I’ve been coming down every morning to do my morning routine as the sun comes up.
One of the staff members from the balcony saw me doing what they thought were weird exercises, and they said, “I love that you’re comfortable just doing those weird things down at the beach.”
First of all, I don’t know whether they meant that as a good thing or a bad thing.
But I’ve gotten comfortable in my own skin and just accepting that I’m weird and my family thinks I’m weird, our staff thinks I’m weird.
Getting comfortable in my own skin as being weird – we’re all a little weird, a little strange.
We all have things that are just unique to us.
My challenge to you is just to fully accept yourself and accept your own uniqueness and how God made you. And my challenge is as you do that, you’ll find you’ll be able to accept others fully as well.
So the challenge is simply to allow yourself to be weird. Accept yourself for who you are. That’s my challenge. Put that into practice, and that’s your Monday Mindset.
