Today’s Monday Mindset: Be Resilient
One of my intentions and goals for this year is to get a deal done with a really well-known NBA player who attended a PGC camp two years ago, our PGC Summit Pro Camp.
We’ve been in conversation and it was looking really promising and it’s been in a holding pattern for the last couple months.
When you’re not getting progress on a goal that you have, you have to be resilient. And I decided not to just let this sit in a spin cycle of not getting to the end result that I’m hoping for.
So as I said in the last week’s Monday Mindset, you have to take massive action when you’re clear on what your goal or objective is, and you have to identify what could get in the way.
What could get in the way in this case is delays. And so I’ve had to break through.
Rather than thinking, “Well, I guess maybe it won’t happen,” or “It’s going to happen on their timing,” I decided to say, “What can I do? What action can I take? What is the massive action that can create a breakthrough?”
And I came up with one and I’ve taken it, and now I’m waiting to see if it produces results. If it doesn’t produce results, then I’ll find another way.
Sometimes you have to go above, below, around or through an obstacle to get the results that you’re looking for.
So whatever it is that you’re trying to get a breakthrough in, whatever goal or objective you have or intention that you’ve set for yourself, you have to be resilient.
You have to withstand all the things that can get in the way of what you’re hoping to materialize.
So be resilient – that’s what I’m putting into practice this week.
That’s my challenge to you, and that’s your Monday Mindset.
