Today’s Monday Mindset: Duke-UConn Game
Last Sunday, Duke-UConn game, final few seconds. Freshman guard, Cayden Boozer turns the ball over. Tough turnover. UConn steals it, hits a three to win the game.
But listen, Cayden’s mistake in that game doesn’t define his career. It doesn’t define his life. It doesn’t define who he is.
Your biggest mistakes don’t define you either. We all have struggles, we all have mistakes. And one page in one chapter in the book of our lives should never define us and shouldn’t define you either.
For Cayden, there’ll be better days ahead. There’s more chapters to be written in his career and even more chapters in his life.
And when you’re thinking about a mistake and experiencing regret, just remind yourself there are more chapters to be written. There are better days ahead and this moment doesn’t have to define who I am or the life I live going forward.
So keep that in mind. It’s just one page, better days ahead. So let go of it and move on to those better days.
That’s my challenge, and that’s your Monday Mindset.
