  • Today’s Monday Mindset: How to Change Your Habits

Most people aren’t happy with the habits that they have, but they don’t know how to change them, so they’re stuck.

If you feel stuck, here are three things you can do to change any habit:

    1. Decide what’s the habit that you want to change. Get crystal clear, and when you get clear and decide that you’re going to change it, that’s your first step in the right direction.

Get crystal clear on what that new habit looks like that you want to develop.

    2. Enroll someone else. Find a friend or family member who can take on that habit with you, whether it’s going to the gym or eating healthier, or not hitting the snooze on your alarm, whatever it might be.

Find a friend, enroll them. Get them to take the challenge with you to help hold you accountable and to encourage each other in it. We all do better when we do things with others.

    3. Take immediate action. Choose what your first action is to develop that habit.

When you do those three things, decide, enroll a friend, and take immediate action. You’re well on your way to changing any habit you want to change.

So put that into practice. That’s my challenge and that’s your Monday Mindset.
