  • Today’s Monday Mindset: Make Time

Presented by: Mano Watsa, President of PGC Basketball Camps

    Who really matters to you?

This past month, I attended two funerals and it got me thinking about who really matters to me and who do I want to spend more time with while I have the chance.

I recently took my mom to California to visit some friends of hers. Why did I make the trip? Because she matters to me and I wanted to spend more time with her.

My challenge to you today is to think about the people in your life that matter to you. Are you spending all the time you can with them? It could be your grandparents, it could be your spouse. It could be your brother or sister. It could be your children or your grandchildren. It could even be your teammates or a friend that you just don’t see enough.

My challenge to you is a simple one. Find the time.

Make the time to spend with those who matter most.

Come up with your list. Write it down if you need to. If you can’t think of them off the top of your head, just go through everyone you know and just evaluate.

Are you spending as much time with them as you really want to?

And if you’re not, prioritize them. Put them into your calendar.

Take a trip with them if necessary.

Do what you need to do to spend time with the people who matter the most to you. That’s my challenge for you this week.

Make time for those who matter most to you.

    That’s your Monday Mindset.
