  • Today’s Monday Mindset: The World Series

If you followed the World Series at all, the Blue Jays lost in a heartbreaking game seven.

And what made it so heartbreaking was that it felt like it was their destiny.

It felt like they were robbed of their destiny.

And if you’ve ever felt like you were robbed of your destiny in something that didn’t materialize, that didn’t take place, that could have or should have, then what you should do is, number one:

Just grieve. Just feel the disappointment and sit in it and have the full range of human experiences and human emotions.

And then whenever possible, be grateful when you get to that place where you can just think of what was, and the people that supported you and how you’ve learned and grown from it, and who you’ve become because of it.

And when you can do that, you’ll be able to handle anything that doesn’t work out in your life.

    Grief, followed by gratitude.

    Put that into practice.

That’s my challenge. And that’s your Monday Mindset.
