Today’s Monday Mindset: The Year was 1939…
In 1939, a student walked into a lecture late, looked at the board and made a mistake that changed his life forever.
His name was George Dantzig. On the blackboard were two math equations. He assumed it was homework, wrote it all down, and then went home. It took him days to complete.
He even apologized to the professor for taking so long to complete the assignment, saying the problems were harder than usual.
A few weeks later, his professor knocked on his door in disbelief. Those weren’t homework problems.
Those were two of the most famous unsolved mathematical equations in human history.
World-class experts couldn’t solve them, but George did in a weekend. Why did he succeed when experts failed? Because nobody told him it was impossible.
The biggest barrier between you and your goals isn’t your capability. It’s the limits you accept before you even try.
So stop letting other people’s limitations determine your potential and approach everything you do with a can-do attitude
That’s my challenge and that’s your Monday Mindset.
