Today’s Monday Mindset: What Kids Can Do
So I’m here at a Kidpreneurs event at a local grade school, and I’ve just been amazed.
This place was just humming a few minutes ago. I had to wait until it quieted down as kids have been selling their items, trinkets, cookies, whatever it may be.
I was just amazed; this young lady has created 2,000 dog collars that she’s selling all over the place. I’ve just been so inspired about what’s possible, what even young people, as young as eight years old, can do and can bring to life.
So my challenge to you is, regardless of your age, is there a dream in your heart or something that you want to bring to life for the benefit of others?
One of the young students even created a table in selling cards for the benefit of a sponsor child down in Haiti. And so I just love the vision that I see here.
And my challenge to you is what can you bring to life? Or if you’re a parent, teacher or a coach, can you create a Kidpreneurs opportunity?
A parent volunteer brought this one to life, and tons and tons of people from the community came and these kids had a chance to put their entrepreneurial skills into action.
Why not create an opportunity for young kids in your area to do something similar? That’s my challenge for you, and that’s your Monday Mindset.
