Today’s Monday Mindset: When I Get Discouraged
Over the next few months, I’m going to share some things that I struggle with.
I know I create these Monday Mindsets, but yes, I struggle with things too. And the first is when I get discouraged.
I’m sure you get discouraged at times.
When you get discouraged, you have to find things that give you hope, that give you hope to believe for a better day ahead.
And what gives me hope is a verse in the scripture that says, “For God works all things for good, for those who love him.”
And so I’m reminded of that not all things are good, but that all things work for good. So when something crappy happens, I remind myself this is going to ultimately work for the good of me or for the good of somebody else. And I trust in that and it gives me hope.
I don’t know what you’re counting on to give you a sense of hope, but maybe that verse can be something that you hold onto as well to give you hope in tough times to help lift you out of discouragement.
He works all things for good, and that’s my challenge for you to put into practice – to remember, even in the midst of discouragement, there is hope.
That’s your Monday Mindset.
