  • Most players want to score more points but few know how to make it happen. Racing arc to arc is a point guard commandment, it simply means pushing the ball up the court with control. Join former PGC Director, Tyler Coston, as he teaches how to shift into different gears to create more advantages for you and your teammates.

    Race the Dribble

    • WALKING – Utilize against pressure in the half-court
    • SKIPPING – Use to disrupt defensive rhythm
    • JOGGING – Provides control and smooth play execution
    • TROT – Enhance vision and opportunity to accelerate
    • SPRINT – Beat the defense back every time
    • GOTCHA – Uncommon speed, shift into overdrive

    Race the Pass

    • Send the ball up the court with a pass because passing moves the ball between the arcs faster.
    • Passing increases the opportunity to score for more players.

    Race the SWOOP

    • Swoop “wings up” – Direct and focused speed on getting down the court
