    BASKETBALL TIP
How to play 1 on 1 so you actually improve:

    Avoid this –

    • Holding the ball for long periods of time.
    • Dribbling nine times before shooting.

    Do this –

    • 5 seconds to score
    • 3 dribbles max
    • 1 shot max

Do this and your ability to beat a defender will improve, fast!

    LEADERSHIP LESSON
The challenge of leadership is to be strong, but not rude; be kind, but not weak; be bold, but not bully; be thoughtful, but not lazy; be humble, but not timid; be proud, but not arrogant; have humor, but without folly.

    – Jim Rohn, World-Renown Author & Speaker

    LIFE PRINCIPLE
It is not fear that stops you from doing the brave and true thing in your daily life. Rather, the problem is avoidance. You want to feel comfortable, so you avoid doing or saying the thing that will evoke fear and other difficult emotions. Avoidance will make you feel less vulnerable in the short run, but it will never make you less afraid.

    – Dr. Harriet Lerner, The Dance of Fear
