    BASKETBALL TEACHING
Foot fakes are extremely useful when you have the ball in a scoring position and haven’t used your dribble yet.

To do a fake-and-crossover well and make it work, be sure you don’t just move your foot.

Move your head and your shoulders, and your hip and the ball.

And do it all violently so it really looks as though you are going that way.

But remember… defenders need time to go for your fakes.

Don’t make the mistake of making your fake so fast that defenders don’t have time to go for them.

    ― Dick DeVenzio
    Founder of PGC

    LIFE LESSON
“One of the simplest ways to win is to always connect the small things you do to the larger thing you hope to accomplish.

Five minutes can be spent working on something trivial or working on something life-changing. A brief session of work oriented toward a great cause is always well spent.

Most daily actions evaporate. Some accumulate.”

    – James Clear

    EDUCATIONAL TIP
“Being a successful student is about more than reading, writing, and ‘rithmetic. It’s about being a skilled negotiator, a keen observer, and a master planner.”

    – Stefanie Weisman
