Today’s Monday Mindset: Are You Mature?
Are you mature?
Here’s a simple way to find out.
Do you have the ability to wait 24 hours?
It’s the 24-hour-rule to maturity.
When something happens that unnerves you, when something frustrates you or disappoints you, if somebody angers you, can you wait 24 hours so you don’t react, you respond?
It takes a mature person emotionally to be able to just take a deep breath and bite their tongue and reflect and think about the other person’s perceptions or how it might have been for somebody else, instead of just lashing out in frustration or anger.
See if you can test your maturity and grow in maturity by practicing it each day.
The 24-hour-rule.
Put that into practice that will help you grow in maturity, you’ll be glad you did.
That’s my challenge, and that’s your Monday Mindset.
