Today’s Monday Mindset: How to Recover
Here are three things you can do if life has been hectic and you want to recover
I’m putting all three of these into place this week as our son got married last weekend, and then we had our staff retreat.
Now I’m back home again.
- The first is simply to get to sleep early: Nothing will help you refresh like a good night’s sleep.
- The second is to move your body: I got to workout in this morning, going to play pickleball and continue to exercise every day this week. When you move your body, you just feel so much better.
- And the third is to journal: To write down what you’ve been learning about, what you’ve experienced, all that has gone on in your world. I journaled this morning back in the routine again, journal every day.
When you do that, it helps you find perspective, helps you feel good about all the things that have been going on.
So put those three things into practice.
Get a good night’s sleep, move your body and journal and you’ll be well on your way to refreshing yourself anytime you need to refresh and recover.
That’s my challenge and that’s your Monday Mindset.
