    BASKETBALL TIP
Spirit is not something that appears only when your team has just come from behind to win a big game and everyone is hugging at mid-court. Everyone has spirit then.

You need spirit when your team is behind, or especially in practice when you have been on the court for 2 hours and nothing is going right and Coach has nothing to say but negatives.

As a player, commit yourself to filling the air with positives and find a way to alter the negative atmosphere.

This small ongoing effort may be more important than any play you ever make in a game.

    LEADERSHIP LESSON
“Leadership is the sum total of who you are. Leaders are developed not simply born and we can all develop ourselves to be able to guide others. Anyone who follows their internal compass can become an authentic leader.”

    – Bill George

    LIFE PRINCIPLE
“Don’t aim at success. The more you aim at it and make it a target, the more you are going to miss it.

For success, like happiness, cannot be pursued; it must ensue, and it only does so as the unintended side effect of one’s personal dedication to a cause greater than oneself or as the by-product of one’s surrender to a person other than oneself.”

    – Victor E. Frankl
