    BASKETBALL TIP
When playing against a zone defense, think about equiangular triangles.

Too many players forget to alter their position as the ball moves and the zone shifts, but thinking of equiangular triangles (triangles having three equal angles) should help you to move where you can be most effective.

Against a zone, you want to receive the ball each time in a position where two defenders feel they need to take you.

    LEADERSHIP LESSON
“Probably the two greatest failures of leaders are indecisiveness in times of urgent need for action and dead certainty that they are right in times of complexity. In either case, leaders are vulnerable to silver bullets—in the one case grasping them, and in the other, relishing them.”

    – Michael Fullan

    LIFE PRINCIPLE
“Finding happiness isn’t a matter of creating a perfectly even-keeled experience of the world, where no sadness ever intrudes.

Instead it means riding the waves of joy, and trying to find our way back upward when we’ve been knocked down.

In renewal we find a kind of resilience, an ability to bounce back from difficulty by reigniting the optimism and hope that rises within us when we believe that joy will return.”

    – Ingrid Fetell Lee
