On wanting to be quicker, lonely leadership, and how to make new habits stick
August 29 | The 3-Point Play
BASKETBALL TIP
Quickness is probably the number one requisite of a good basketball player, so nearly everyone feels a need to be quicker.
Quickness is the ability to get from one spot to another nearby spot very quickly. To do that, you have to want to get there quickly and you have to feel impatient on the way no matter how quick you are.
LEADERSHIP LESSON
“You do not become a leader because people follow you. Rather, people tend to follow you because you have leadership qualities. The journey of leadership often starts alone.”
– Awdhesh Singh
LIFE PRINCIPLE
“Directly link short-term rewards and punishments to the new habits you’re trying to form, and you’re far more likely to stay on track.”
– Kerry Patterson
