Pick It Up

Today’s Monday Mindset: Pick It Up
My college teammate, Tommy, just came by for a brief visit, and as we were walking into the house, he saw this blue sweater and he just grabbed it and picked it up.
I had just walked by it and he saw it on the ground and put it on the table and said, “Hey, is this somebody’s or one of your kids?”
I had missed the opportunity to make my environment better.
He didn’t, even though he was just here for a few minutes. He chose to make his environment better.
My challenge to you is what do you do each day to make your environment better?
You can do it very simply, just by choosing to pick up something. Whether it’s trash or something of value, or something that you’ve actually left around your house or that’s around the gym that needs to get picked up.
Put that into practice, pick it up. That’s my challenge and that’s your Monday Mindset.
