Today’s Monday Mindset: Practice Generosity
Presented by: Mano Watsa, President of PGC Basketball Camps
We finished up our PGC camp here in the Cayman Islands, and last night we were treated to the most exquisite meal by the family that helped make this camp possible by Luigi, who actually owned the restaurant that we were at.
At the end of the meal, Luigi very generously gave us three or four of his t-shirts with the brand 1345, which is the Cayman Islands area code. We offered to pay for them but he wouldn’t allow us.
He was so generous both with the meal and then with the shirts.
I was reminded, about the power of generosity, the power of sharing your things, your time, your energy with others.
My challenge to you today is – if you wanna help make others feel good, practice generosity.
If you wanna feel good, practice generosity. As a giver, you often feel even better than the receiver does.
Look for opportunities each and every day. It doesn’t have to be something huge. A t-shirt, a giving of your time, inviting somebody to have a meal with you. Hospitality is a great way to practice generosity.
Look for ways to just be generous.
The world would benefit from a more generous you and a more generous me.
So let’s practice it together. Practice generosity.
That’s your Monday Mindset.
