Today’s Monday Mindset: The 2:1 Ratio
Man, I’ve heard this so many times, and I still have not mastered it yet – but I’m going to. And you can too.
It’s the two-to-one ratio. The two-to-one ratio is simply two pieces of encouragement before you give a piece of feedback, advice, or constructive criticism.
It’s so easy to just jump into wanting to make somebody better – but I need to stop that. You might need to as well. Instead, find two things to celebrate, encourage, or uplift before you give that piece of feedback.
Put that into practice: Two-to-one ratio.
Gosh, I’ve got to remember it. You do too. Let’s do it together.
That’s my challenge and that’s your Monday Mindset.
