  • Today’s Monday Mindset: What It’s All About

I played in our alumni game at the University of Waterloo this morning, my alma mater. And it was so great to see my former teammates, guys that I coached, and guys that I’ve watched play over a 20 year span.

What I’m continually reminded of is that life is all about relationships. That’s what matters most.

My challenge to you is no matter what you’re pursuing, and for those of you pursuing your athletic careers, it’s not the wins and losses, it’s not even the training, it’s the relationships that will mean the most to you years later.

Whether it’s your work career, or anything you’re pursuing, keep in mind it’s all about relationships.

    It’s all about relationships.

Be intentional to build into people, to encourage others to build the type of relationships that you can have 10, 20, or 30 years down the road. And when they see you and you see them, you’re going to want to hug each other because that’s the type of relationship you’ve built with others.

That’s what matters most, and that’s your Monday Mindset.
