Today’s Monday Mindset: You Never Know
Last week I had the chance to go to seven different states in seven days to visit several of our PGC Basketball Camps, and one of the places I went to was Converse College, the place where my journey with PGC began because I attended the Point Guard College course with PGC Founder, Dick DeVenzio,
And it was a game changing, life changing experience for me.
Those five days changed the trajectory of not just my playing career, but even what I get to do now as a career providing leadership to PGC.
And the reason I share all of that with you is because you never know.
When I was in high school, I was battling discouragement and disappointment over and over again in my career. I never would have imagined as an undersized kid from a small rural farming hockey town in southwestern Ontario, that I would’ve been able to have the basketball career I had. I wouldn’t have imagined being able to one day provide leadership to PGC.
I mean, it still blows my mind to this day what transpired and how it transpired, and it just goes to show you never know.
If you ever battle disappointment or discouragement, keep in mind, you never know what might be around the corner for you. If you commit to the work, have the right approach, you never know what may materialize.
Put that into practice.
You never know what great things, what amazing things, what things you can’t even conceive of, could be in your future if you choose to just go for it.
You never know.
That’s your Monday mindset.
