  • After 82 regular season games, the NBA schedule shifts to the postseason this weekend where a pair of PGC grads will make their playoff debuts. Philadelphia’s Markelle Fultz and Milwaukee’s Shabazz Muhammad enter the playoffs following breakout performances in the final week of the regular season.

Fultz – the No. 1 overall pick in the 2017 draft – became the youngest player in NBA history to record a triple-double, notching 13/10/10 on Wednesday against the Bucks. The performance capped a strong month for Fultz, who shot nearly 45% in April and helped the Sixers clinch their first playoff berth since 2012. Philadelphia roars into the postseason on a 16-game winning streak dating back to March 15.

Muhammad was signed on March 4 by Milwaukee after spending the first four years of his career in Minnesota. In an April 9 victory over Orlando, Muhammad scored a season-high 22 points while also corralling eight rebounds. Muhammad was the 14th overall pick in the 2013 draft after being First Team Pac-12 and Second Team All-American while at UCLA.

Follow PGC’s two playoff grads through their upcoming best-of-7 series with the schedule below.
