Today’s Monday Mindset: Mental Toughness
Presented by: Mano Watsa, President of PGC Basketball Camps
Are you mentally tough?
Most of us don’t even know what mental toughness is. So let me give you a definition.
I like to think of mental toughness as the ability to not be bothered by conditions you face.
To not blame, complain, or make excuses.
We can’t control every circumstance that comes our way, but we can control our approach to those circumstances.
My challenge to you is, every day when something comes up to just ask yourself, am I being mentally tough right now? Am I avoiding being bothered? Being frustrated, angered, or discouraged by circumstances and conditions that I can’t control?
You can grow your mental toughness just by being mindful of how you’re responding in any given moment.
Once again, you can’t control every circumstance but you can control your response & your approach to every circumstance.
Work on your mental toughness.
That’s my challenge and that’s your Monday Mindset.
