Lorin Dixon Embraces Role with UConn

The path to a starting role for the UConn women’s basketball team this season seemed to be clear of any obstacles for junior point guard Lorin Dixon. Starting with the loss of All-American Renee Montgomery to graduation, and coupled with the inexperience of sophomores Tiffany Hayes and Caroline Doty at point guard and the amount of work Dixon put in during the off-season to better herself, she became the favorite to supplant Montgomery.

Utah State Takes Initiative at PGC

Utah State women’s basketball had two student-athletes attend the Point Guard College August 10-14, in Hagerstown, Md. Juniors LeeAnn Palo and Alice Coddington chose to attend the PGC in their off-season free time.
“I am really proud of the initiative these two have taken to be apart of something that will not only impact their success, but our team’s success as well,” USU head coach Raegan Pebley said.
